KUMHO 225/55R17 Tyre Prices

Running this tyre on my ls1. V8 four door ute. I like chainsawing fallen wood after storms. I drive in blue mountains . On al terrains . Tyre has good wet and dry grip under full v8 power down.and quite good when on a shopping tripe with misses

My second pair. 1st set still going strong after 20000km. Noticeably quieter than the standard car fitted Bridgestone Potenza series. A LOT grippier in either wet or dry. You will feel it in your 1st round-about. Gives you a lot more confidence in case of emergency.

I am running the 'KUMHO ECSTA HS51's on the front of my Subaru Forester XT (2.5L Turbo) It's been tuned plus had additional performance mods done so the power output is quite healthy. I wanted to do some research along with a few brand comparisons to see what the experts had to say as there are 'a lot' of Tyre manufacturers and Tyre Sellers making 'a lot' of claims as to who's product is better. So a bit of help went a long way. KUMHO kept coming up as a top contender and their ECSTA HS51's were hard to ignore, they ticked all the technical boxes and did so convincingly. When I saw the price that sealed the deal for me. Excellent value. I only needed to replace the front tyres. (They were a Goodyear from memory) The back tyres, which are Hankooks still had plenty of life in them. It would have been easy to just put a couple of the Hankooks on the front and job done. The problem was, the Kumho's were really standing out so that is what I purchased and I am so glad I did. The Kuhmo's are excellent in every way. I have had them on for roughly a month now. They are very quiet on the road. The noise level drop compared to the Goodyear was significant and the Kuhmo's are also quieter than the Hankooks. The Kuhmo tyres are performing extremely well and are doing so in all conditions. Superior directional stability stood out clearly along with how quiet they are. I will replace the rear tyres with Kuhmo tyres as soon as I need to. I couldn't be happier price wise, especially as the Kuhmo tyres stack up equally as well to the brands that are charging almost double the money.

So far they are going well. Nice and quiet and hopefully wear well.

I replaced an old set of Bridgestone Adrenaline RE003 with these on my built 2010 SH Forester XT (205awkw). This is a highly modified high-power application and these tyres have handled the power superbly. I could not be happier with the grip level, and the noise is acceptable considering the performance and platform they are attached to. I would not hesitate to purchase these again.
