Dating back to 1937 and headquartered in Japan, Toyota is not only one of the largest car manufacturers world-wide, but also Japan's largest company from any industry and is in the top 15 highest revenue companies in the world. The company has factories in many different countries and Toyota has been in Australia for over 50 years.
Current car models, include the Yaris, the Prius C, the Corolla, the Rukus, the Camry, the Aurion, the Prius v and the 86. Popular SUV and 4WD models include the RAV4, the Kluger, the Prado and the LandCruiser 200.
Toyota is one of the largest companies to produce hybrid electric vehicles and started doing so in 1997 with the launch of the Toyota Prius. In recent times Toyota have experienced issues that have required recalls of manufactured vehicles, but appear to be recovering from that setback quite nicely.
