Japan’s second-largest automobile company, Nissan sells their cars under the Nissan, Infiniti, Datsun and NISMO brands. With over 60 models, Nissan has been part of the Renault-Nissan Alliance since 1999 which gives each of the company voting stakes in one another’s companies. Nissan is the top Japanese car brand in Russia, China and Mexico.
In 2012, Nissan was the sixth biggest automobile maker in the world. The Renault-Nissan Alliance would be the world’s fourth largest.
The X-Trail is one of Nissan’s most popular models and the new Nissan X-Trail turbo-diesel, jointly developed with Renault, recently went on sale in Australia.
