PIRELLI 215/65R16 Tyre Prices

Had Pirelli P6 tyres before and l thought they were good but my Pirelli Scorpion Verde are even better They are not as loud for road noise And they seem to be better in all driving conditions

Amazing, BUT..... This is a *very* quiet, and very soft-riding tyre. Balance is faultless. I've driven a few hundred kms on them and it is a quieter and easier ride than my previous Toyo Open Country H/T, which I thought were pretty smooth. HOWEVER, the Scorpions appear to use more fuel! I was easily averaging about 9.8litres/100km on the old tyres at 41psi - the Scorpions went straight to 10.6l/100km I have now taken the pressure up to 48psi - and the tyres still feel smooth! I suspect the side-walls on these tyres are very pliable and soft, with lots of 'spring' which give the smoother ride - but also increase fuel consumption significantly. Back to Toyos next time. Note about pressures: I saw on the sidewall the Scorpions are rated for maximum load at a max of 51psi; so there should be no problem in running them at these higher pressures - I'll be watching for any uneven centre-wear - I'll be surprised if I see any, as I never have in all past tyres I've run over 40psi.

Its been 6 months so far and all doing well with the tyres. Good fitting service and wheels balance. Can't complain.

Quite and smooth

Very responsive to accelerate and brake. Comfortable ride ????

First thing we noticed was how much quieter the car was, particularly on the motorway. Much less tyre noise than the old Hancock's. Also noticed it feels more sure footed in the wet. All up were pleased with these tyres so far (approx. 1,000 kms).
