Road handling is superb, even more than I anticipated. However, fuel consumption went up for the first few thousand Kms by 1.5 to 2 litres / hundred Kms. It has settled down now to about 1 litre / 100 Kms more than my previous ContiContact tyres, which were a slightly different size and the more 'commuter' orientated compound.
Overall I opine these tyres are going to cost me $500 - $1200 more in fuel consumption over their anticipated 50K lifetime. The price one pays for brilliant roadholding. Better than paying for car damage as the previous tyres could be made to slide when I pushed.
And that's on a Renault Koleos, not a Megane.

the tyre that I got actually is Contisportcontact 2, which is a newer model.

Cars previous tyre's use to track the divets , hollows in the road ,these tyre's which i expected to be out my price range are certainly a cut above the previous tyre's that i have had on .track straight and quiet.

Great grip and a good looking tyre

This has been an excellent long lasting but high performance tyre for my Audi A5.
Good grip, quiet on the road and lasted 35000km
The only improvement could be made to the side wall - Rim Protection strip. However I haven't found a competitor that is better in this area.
