MAYRUN 235/55R20

Five stars by
Outstanding value for money. Better perfroming all around than the origainl Bridgestones on my R52 Pathfinder. Better mileage, less noise, far better cornering and better over bumps. Not to mention the grip in the wet.. It woul dbe hard to get a better tyre let alone for the money these cost... saved me $180/corner.

I purchased a set of 4 Mayrun Mr500's for my Nissan Pathfinder Ti R52. It rolls on 20's as standard so tyre choice is limited when considering load ratings. Pirelli, Bridgestone and Dunlop make tyres of this size, but they are $400+ each. OEM were Bridgestone Dueller HT's.. (this car is 2WD only so offroad capability is irrelevant).. We had the tyres fitted at our local Tyre Guys depot. These Mayruns, feel better, grip better and drive better than the Bridgestone's ever did. Not only that but we are using less fuel than before, admittedly it s only 0.5L/100km less, but its still better. They feel solid in the corners, and dont squirm under brakes and they absorb bumps far better than the Bridgestones. Water dispersion is better and road noise is lower too. Then you find out that their $160/wheel cheaper...I haven't tried the other brands (Dunlop & Pirelli), and to be fair, i probably wont because they are nearly double the price of the Mayruns, and i just cant see how they could be twice as good. At the end of the day, its not a race car and super sticky and soft tyres would probably be better, BUT they last half as long and cost twice as much.. For day to day driving Mayrun MR500's rule the roost..
