YOKOHAMA 235/35R19 Tyre Prices

If you don’t mind road noise this is an amazing tyre.

Only had the tyres a short time so can't comment on durability. But much quieter than P-Zeros which were original tyres and a more comfortable ride. Tyresales matched a lower price even after a special offer from Yokohama and and supply and fit of tyres was hassle free. Highly recommend the service and price competitiveness.

I 'read all the things' before getting the Advans, even had a store ringing me offering me a price somewhere like 60% of what these cost to put on Nitto Invos. Having never actually pulled the car off the road, put on a set of Pirelli P Zero's, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup or Bridgestone Potenza's and gone back to back with them, I cannot say if they are 'better' or 'worse' than the comparison brand, though at the price point of $120-150 less per tyre, I saved close to $800. Besides the price, I scoured the Audi and BMW race forums all recommending the Advan's, then got a bit sold on the 'these are our best' and the 'limousine quietness and race tyre performance' quotes on the Yokohama site with a picture of the Nurburgring. You see I wanted a road tyre for my slightly modified B7 2.0T Quattro Audi Avant that I could take to the Australian Tarmac Rally Championships. What astonished both myself and my co-driver who also has a motorsport background, is screaming through the turns on the way to Mt Baw Baw and up the hill, on the wrong side of the road, in the wet, at up to 120-130 kph (because the roads are closed, as we are in a rally stage), there is no difference, absolutely no difference, between this tyres grip in the wet or the dry. It's quite surprising. Since then I've flogged it through the hills at another round of the Aus. Tarmac Championships in the TSD category and the tyres have a lovely controlled friction point, they want to grab, they want to work and if the temperature plummets or soars they don't mind (we went from 4 degrees and pouring rain to 29 degrees in 3 hours). I'll be buying another set and using them for Targa Tasmania 2018. Also, my wife mainly drives the car and I am confident there is absolutely no way she would be in a situation (or I would) in normal road circumstances that these tyres would not cope with. They are quiet too and run beautifully on 4-5+ hour drives, even if we've completely loaded the car and the roof racks.
